Don't Look Back: Season 1979-80

On the 40th anniversary of one of the great come-from-behind title wins we look back to a season that went from losing cup finals and dissent written on the walls of Pittodrie, to delirium in the sunshine of Easter Road.
We're joined by a member of that title-winning squad, and latterly Dons Assistant Manager, Willie Garner; the man who has written the definitive account of the Fergie years at Pittodrie, Michael Grant; and someone who followed the side all over Scotland that season, David Innes.

Comeback Kid(s)

There's usually a lag between recording these and getting them out. Can be just a few hours, can be a day or two. Sometimes elements get overtaken by events, with the enormity of what's been happening pretty much the whole context of this show was overtaken. However, we had great guests in Paul Harper and Terry McDermott so, in addition to some chat about some football matches that were either rendered virtually irrelevant by today's SPFL vote, or will never now happen, they share what they've picked up from their time watching the MLS and what the Dons could try to introduce over here.
